Membership
It is proposed that Membership will be open to all private and autonomous Ophthalmologists, Ophthalmic Day Surgeries and Laser Centres, that are non-listed companies. Membership for companies in corporatised medicine listed on the Stock Exchange is considered inappropriate as, by nature of their focus on Shareholder returns, they have a differing set of objectives and a differing agenda to private practice.
